Magellan Search & Staffing Ranks in the Top 10 of Staffing Industry Analysts’
Fastest-Growing U.S. Staffing Firms
Wayne, PA. (August 15, 2014) Today, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), a global advisor on contingent work known for its independent and objective understandings, released a list of the 2014 fastest-growing U.S. staffing and talent engagement firms. Magellan Search & Staffing ranked seventh in 2014 with a 54.1 percent compound annual growth rate. This is the third consecutive year Magellan has qualified as one of the fastest-growing staffing firms by SIA and the first year making the Top 10 List. In previous years Magellan ranked 42nd in 2013 and 32nd in 2012.
According to the Staffing Industry Analysts’ published report, 2014 is the largest number of companies that have qualified for the list since initially producing the list in 2005, illustrating how the staffing industry nature is changing.
To qualify for the Fastest-Growing list, staffing firms had to have posted at least $1 million in revenue in 2009 and experienced a compound annual revenue growth of at least 15 percent between then and 2013. All 97 staffing firms on the list posted compound annual revenue growth of 15 percent or more, compared to 92 firms last year. The top 10 fastest-growing firms had a median compound annual growth rate of 56.8 percent from 2009 through 2013. Such revenue included U.S. staffing revenue and talent engagement revenue.
