Magellan Search & Staffing Again Named to Prestigious Top Recruiters List
Magellan Search & Staffing has been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2013 Top Executive Recruiters Contingency Search Firm List for the third consecutive year and the fourth time in five years.
Magellan’s ranking on the 2013 list is the highest ever, at sixth. Previous rankings were twelfth in 2009 and ninth in both 2011 and 2012.
In compiling the list, Philadelphia Business Journal ranked contingency search agencies according to the number of clients placed locally, through local offices, from December 2011 through December 2012.
Respondents were asked questions such as this example from the survey: During the past year, did your local office expand their list of industries served? Seventy-four percent of participants answered, “Yes,” with 26% answering, “No.”
Magellan was among the expanding firms, adding Mechanical Services, Information Technology and Administrative service divisions last year.
